Due to amazing and overwhelming demand, we’ve decided to take this show on the road. It’s an evening of celebrating the pop & love songs of my favorite singer & songwriter, Sam Cooke. My band and I will also do a set of my own songs inspired by him. This show is for everyone. Can’t wait to see you out there this Spring / Summer. Hear "Personal Boy" via Paste's Exclusive Premiere!

Har Mar Superstar’s Personal Boy EP isn’t due to be released until Aug. 22, but today, Paste is pleased to offer an exclusive premiere of the title track.

The epic, seven-and-a-half-minute love song is the result of a collaboration earlier this year with producers BJ Burton and Lazerbeak. The trio met up in April for a two-day session and wound up with seven new songs, three of which found their way onto the EP. Personal Boy also includes a radio edit of the title track and an Afghan Whigs cover (“Demon in Profile”)—fitting, since Har Mar Superstar will be hitting the road with the band on tour in September.
